6 yearsThis number, 02582808817, has rung me up five times over the past three days. It’s an automated voice warning me about supposed illegal stuff on my internet, threatening to cut it off, and telling me to press 1 if I want to talk to their “advisor”. Total scam in my opinion.8 yearsReceived a call from a chap representing Imperial Telecoms, a bit of a nuisance if I'm honest. He was trying to persuade me to switch to a more affordable phone contract, typical sales pitch really. I'm absolutely not keen on that sort of thing!Imperial Telecoms9 yearsGot two calls in less than an hour. First one was a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Talk Talk. When I asked how she got my number, she just hung up on me. The next call was a man, also Indian, said he was with Openreach. I told him I’m gonna report them for bothering me and to remove my number from their list.TalkTalk9 yearsSome bloke called and started asking if my mum was around??? Then he wanted to know how old I am?? Plus, he asked if I’ve got a boyfriend?? The number was 277? I just told him to piss off.9 yearsThis number called me three times in just a few hours. On the last call, I decided to ask a few questions. The person said his name was William Norris and that he was from a company called i2. He mentioned something about 'increasing' my phone bill, but given his poor English, I reckon he meant lowering it. I'm going to report this to Ofcom now.William Norris9 yearsSo, I answered my phone and this lady with an asian accent said she was from imperial telecom. She went on about lowering my call rates and then just hung up on me. Has anyone got a clue what that was all about?Imperial Telecom9 yearsmight’ve been 'imperial' like some folks mentioned, but honestly it came across more like 'inferior'. asked the lady to spell it out a few times but still couldn’t make it out. she was trying to pitch me phone plans or something. get about half a dozen calls like this each day! plus, my phone flagged the number as coming from abroad. have already reported it to ofcom.Ofcom9 yearsThey just said hi and then cut the call off.9 yearsSome bloke rang up saying he was from imperial telecom or something like that, with a thick Indian accent that made it hard to understand him. He kept going on about slashing my phone bills without me needing to switch providers or anything. But when I asked for a website or any proof, he just kept dodging it and wanted me to spill loads of personal info first - stuff like my middle name, date of birth, and how much I used the phone. Oddly, he already knew my address. I wasn’t having any of it and told him to jog on. Not sure if it was a tough sales push or a con though?Imperial Telecoms9 yearsGot a call where nobody said a word and they just hung up almost straight away.Submit Your Own Report (025 2881 2288)
