Got a call from a Seychelles number, only rang one time and then nothing else. Pretty clear scam if you ask me, so I didn’t bother calling back!

Got a call on me work phone last Sunday evening from 02482680009 but didn’t pick up. My missus got a call at about 1:05 am on her mobile the weekend before from the same number. Looks like it’s coming from Seychelles and might well be one of them scammers trying to trick people into ringing back and charging loads fees. Be careful!

Earlier today I saw a missed call and decided to ring back, only to find the number was from The Seychelles. A bloke picked up and just said "Hello." When I asked who he was and why he’d called, he didn’t say a thing. The line went really quiet but stayed connected, like he might’ve just hung up but hadn’t. It freaked me out a bit because I guessed it might be one of those scams trying to nick your money. I’m feeling uneasy about it and will be contacting o2 first thing tomorrow to check my charges. I’ve already put this number on my block list.

I let it ring just a few seconds and didn't bother calling back since it's a Seychelles number, and I figured it would be really expensive to return the call.
