Received a call on our phone, so we answered with a cordial "hello." The other party responded with a polite "hi, how may we assist you?" We mentioned that they had called us, and just like that, they abruptly ended the call! Quite baffling, I must say.

We greeted again, and a chap finally chimed in, claiming he was ring us because our mobile phone contract was due to expire in the next four to six months. We promptly informed him that this wasn’t the case, to which he apologetically hung up. Quite bizarre, if you ask me!
