7 yearsA couple of nights ago, this number kept ringing me from around 6.30 in the evening. I dialled 1471 to check it and was told it was a BT text message, so I hit 1 to hear it. But all I got was nonsense, like random numbers mumbled far away that I couldn’t understand at all. The calls came through roughly every quarter of an hour all night, but I never listened to the messages - I just pressed 3 to trash them straight away.7 yearsSomebody rang me claiming to be from Severn Trent. I’d given them my mobile before but it was linked to another person’s account since I was helping out with some billing problems. When I told them the person they wanted wasn’t around, they said they’d post a letter to the account holder explaining what the call was about.
