This number has been ringing me loads lately. I got two calls on Monday, one on Tuesday and another one today, Wednesday. Answered the latest and the line was just terrible, really noisy like a huge call centre in the background. The caller claimed to be from Eon Energy, but couldn’t confirm my account details and mentioned a mobile number ending in XXX, which wasn’t mine at all. I told them they had the wrong person and ended the call. Also, haven’t Eon rebranded to Eon Next now? Feels a bit dodgy to me, could this be some sort of spam?
