I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent who said she was calling about my recent bill. Strange thing was, she didn’t have my customer or account number. I told her to drop me an email instead, figured if she has my phone number, she must have my email too. But then, she just ended the call. Bit odd if you ask me.

I got a call from a bloke with a strong foreign accent claiming to be from BT about my account - which I’ve never even had! He went on about some ‘special offer’ as if I was a loyal customer or something. Then he tried to get me to confirm all sorts of personal stuff, starting with things anyone could easily find out. When he started asking for my birthday and other sensitive info, I told him I was busy and ended the call straight away.
