Since June, my phone bill has been showing weird charges every month, even though I was abroad and not using roaming. I reached out to Vodafone multiple times but their customer support was pretty useless. Eventually, they directed me to call a premium number, 0247 6998 420, linked to a company called Zamado or something similar. They've already deducted around £150 from me. They assured me a refund would be sent via PayPal as I’m not comfortable giving out my home address for a cheque. I’m still waiting on that refund and honestly, I’m really fed up with Vodafone. I never agreed to any dodgy texts or services. Counting down the days until my contract ends because I’m definitely switching providers.

So, these lot go by the name ZAMANO, right? They send you premium texts from number 84506 and slap on a charge of £4.50 for every single one! I’m with Vodafone and honestly, their support was spot on. They sorted me out with all the info on these annoying jokers and even blocked the messages for me. Proper good service!

I didn’t receive a call from this number, yet upon settling my monthly bill, I noticed this number along with 0333 313 7900 had been flagged as dialled. My mobile provider, EE, informed me that they couldn’t assist and I was left with a bill totalling £15 for these calls. However, they have assured me that they’ve blocked these numbers, so I shouldn’t encounter them again. I’ve taken the step to write to EE expressing my frustration-seeing as I didn’t initiate these calls, why should I bear the cost? If I don't receive a refund, I’ll be compelled to switch providers; there are countless options available. Just thought I’d share this in case it might be useful to anyone else facing a similar issue.

I've been added to some dodgy premium text service without my consent and have managed to cancel it now, but getting a refund is proving to be a nightmare. They said they sent me a cheque twice after I chased them up, but I've yet to see any money and honestly don’t think they ever sent it. Indeed, I encountered something similar. Upon noticing that the title was linked to adult content, I opted not to entertain it and promptly deleted it. However, I've recently noticed a couple of charges on my EE phone bill, each amounting to £3.75. I reached out to the company, and they informed me that a refund is on its way.

Watch out for this firm, they’re total con artists! They send premium text messages that cost you extra without realising it. Once they start, it’s nearly impossible to shake them off. They’ll keep pestering your phone endlessly, and you can’t even block them because the number shows up as private. They also use 66225 to send those costly rubbish texts that you end up paying for. Seriously, steer clear of these lot!
