Firstly, they've got a freebie email address, which raises a red flag since you can't track it back to anyone through their bank details or anything. Moreover, they seem keen on having documents sent through fax or email, but refuse to accept anything through the post, citing security concerns. Quite suspicious, don’t you think? It’s not like you can’t receive proper letters if you haven’t got a post box! To top it off, the Coventry address they provide leads to a massive international engineering company on Google Maps, which is quite odd.CoventryGoogle Maps9 yearsI recently received a call from an outfit claiming to be SS Payments, stating that they were going to refund me some cash from the Spanish courts regarding a dodgy timeshare deal. They mentioned that the money was already with them and that it wouldn’t cost me a penny. Apparently, all I had to do was sign some court documents and send them straight back after they sent me a bankers draft. However, they insisted I first stump up an £850 bond, which they claimed would be returned once they got the signed papers. It all seems rather implausible, and I suspect I’ve stumbled upon yet another scam possibly originating from Coventry.SS PaymentsCoventry9 yearsI got a rather suspicious call claiming that they're ready to reimburse us for some funds linked to a court case in Spain.
