I returned their call and found out that it's 'Phonespot' reaching out regarding mobile upgrades. They seem to have a record of when you’re eligible for an upgrade. If you indicate that you're not interested, they don't harass you and are quite accommodating.

Received a rather intrusive call from a loan centre, but I’m not at all keen on that sort of thing. Just wanted to share!

I received a call from this number, 02476993749, asserting that my mobile contract was expiring. They then requested my mobile number and other personal details, but then abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
