Got a call from someone about eco insulation. I kept asking if it was a sales call, but he just kept going on about my house insulation like he had all the details, which I found strange as I couldn't verify any of it. When I asked again if it was marketing, he just hung up on me. Seems pretty worrying, especially for those who might be more vulnerable. Just a heads up about the number 02476992309.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from ‘eco’. He started with the usual ‘how are you’ bit, which honestly sets off alarm bells every time. I just told him I wasn’t familiar with him and ended the call quick.

a guy called me up askin for someone who supposedly lived here. he kept goin on about loft stuff and wanted details about what was in my loft. i asked him why and he just went back to some script. i asked who he was and what company he worked for, he said “we're eco.” he just stuck to the script after that. i let him carry on for a bit then said i wasn’t happy and ended the call. that was that.

So, I got a call from a lady offering a free loft insulation survey. She asked me loads of questions, then handed me over to a bloke who grilled me with the same questions all over again. They said someone would pop round tomorrow to carry out the check. When I rang the number back, an automated voice came on saying it was from Eco-Spray Installation. Bit strange really.

After a brief pause, this number is back calling again with all sorts of stories - from supposed car accident claims to bizarre requests like setting up your funeral. When you finally answer, you’re met with someone quite unfriendly. Definitely watch out and be very careful with calls from this number.
