Received a phone call from a bloke named David claiming to be an HMRC investigator. He asked to speak with Mr Statham, which isn’t me, then went on about whether I had a lawyer. When I asked what it was all about, he rattled off an address in Leicester and said the police were about to raid it to arrest this Mr Statham in half an hour. Sounds like a total scam to me - I’ve never heard of HMRC giving anyone a heads up about an arrest! Be careful out there.
