I found this number on Google saying it was for Premier Inn bookings. When I called, the 'agent' asked for my card info before even asking about the booking itself, saying he needed to 'verify' it through my banking app. I thought I'd be asked to approve just a small or zero payment, but instead, it tried to charge some international payment to Qatar Airways. I didn't go through with it. The agent got annoyed with me, so I ended the call and immediately contacted my bank to freeze my card.
