I got a call from a firm named First Response on the number listed above. To be honest, I found the whole conversation rather off-putting and I’ve opted not to go for their £1,000 security package they were pushing for just £399 installation fee. Just thought I'd give a heads-up to everyone-stay vigilant!

I received a rather perplexing phone call from this number, the caller ID was completely unrecognised. When I inquired about the lady's identity and her company's name, she claimed to represent a service called First Response. According to her, they were involved in some sort of wireless emergency response system that was supposedly backed or sanctioned by the police-which I find hard to believe. It feels imperative that we put an end to these kinds of unsolicited calls. She went on to say that if there were an emergency in one’s home, such as a burglary, even if one had an alarm system, the police would not respond due to the rising number of false alarms. I sincerely hope the police are aware of such claims.
