Got a call earlier today from First Response, using that number up there. They tried to sell me security gear supposedly worth a grand, saying it’d only cost £399 to set up. Didn’t feel right at all, so I said no thanks. Just a heads up, be careful!

So, I got a call from this number but the caller ID just showed up as unknown. When I asked the woman who she was with, she said it was a company called First Response. She claimed they install some kind of wireless emergency system that’s approved or run by the police - which honestly sounds a bit dodgy to me. I really think these types of calls should be stopped. She went on to say that even if there’s an emergency like a break-in and you have an alarm, the police might not come because there have been too many false alarms lately. I just wonder if the police are actually aware of all this.
