I got a call from some bloke claiming to be from appliance insurance, telling me the cover on my washing machine had run out. I whispered back, asking why then was the firm that actually insures my machine still taking money from my bank? He said he couldn’t catch what I’d said and asked me to repeat it, so this time I spoke loud enough for my neighbours a good distance away to hear. I even said he was trying to con me before I just hung up on him.

As someone who's disabled due to a stroke, I've made it clear multiple times that they should remove my name and number from their contact list. Unfortunately, it seems my requests fall on deaf ears, as they persist in calling me.

Got a call again from what looks like a scam number. They usually ring me sometime between 12 and 2pm every time. I just let it ring out to the voicemail because if it was really important, they would leave a message. Of course? Nothing was left, so I just blocked the number.
