I received a call from a woman claiming to be from Barclays Customer Support. She told me there were two dodgy transactions on my account - one from Argos and another from somewhere called Caroline Warehouse - supposedly made from an IP address in Liverpool, while I'm actually based in London. When I asked how to check it was legit, she said the number she was calling from matched the one on the back of my Barclays debit card. I pointed out the numbers weren't the same, and she just hung up. Watch out, this is definitely a scam.
