SCAM ALERT - Just checked with Halifax and turns out this was a phishing scam. The lady who rang from this number was really pushy and immediately started quizzing me about my savings accounts. Felt like she had some quick access to my info or something. Definitely not a real Halifax call. Watch out, total SCAM!!!

This isn’t the real Halifax at all. The glowing reviews here are probably fake, put up by the scammers themselves. The number’s dodgy and they claim to be Halifax but it’s just not legit. The person on the phone had a foreign accent and kept saying “I’m from your bank” - classic scam stuff. Honestly, they should find an honest line of work.

Got a voicemail saying it was 'my bank' and to ring back on the given number, with my name mentioned. I'm pretty sure actual banks always tell you their name when they call, so I'm not falling for it!
