11 yearsAbsolutely brilliant guidance, much appreciated!13 yearsWe completely concur with the sentiments expressed by others-Fire/Cabot are nothing more than leeches who hold no real power over you. As mentioned in an earlier comment, the best course of action is simply to disregard them.13 yearsI've had a run-in with this one - it's definitely FIRE w***e or CABOT. They seem to have popped up with a fresh number, probably because I blocked all their other FIRE and CABOT lines, which had stopped them bugging me for months. For anyone not in the know: CABOT/FIRE buy up old debts at about 20% of what’s originally owed, from companies that have given up chasing the money. Then, they go all out trying to scare and pressure you into paying, even when the debt might not be legally due anymore. But honestly, that’s all they’re good for - pushing and pestering. So if you get a call from those lot, do yourself a favour, block the number and just ignore those leeches.13 yearsThey call me like 8 in the morning, then again at like 8 at night, and at least a couple times during the day. I never pick up cos I’m still getting over heart surgery. They never leave any messages, and usually, the phone stops ringing before I even get there. Honestly, it’s not just annoying, it’s really stressing me out and making me feel awful. I really don’t want to risk another heart attack because of this.13 yearsThey keep calling nonstop, like every five minutes or so. It's really annoying.13 yearsThey rung me up asking for my bank info but never said who they were. Felt really dodgy, so I just hung up.Submit Your Own Report (024 7675 7275)
