Scammers used this number to get into my O2 account by pretending my phone had been stolen. They got a replacement SIM from O2, then went ahead and switched all my O2 account info and even bought two iPhone 13 Max phones with new contracts. I barely ever used that phone as the O2 SIM came with my Virgin Media deal renewal (TV, broadband, landline) back in November 2022. This offer happened around the time Virgin and O2 joined forces.

Seems like just another scam to me. I picked up thinking it was gonna be someone with an Indian accent pretending to be from a mobile provider or Currys/PC World, pushing some “amazing deal” while trying to nick your details. But they just dropped the call. Probably a VoIP call faking a Coventry area code.
