In the realm of accident compensation brokers, it seems they’ve enlisted the help of an Indian call centre to ring you up regarding your so-called 'recent mishap'. I had a little fun and kept them hanging on the line for a good twenty minutes, spinning a yarn about a fictitious name and made-up injuries. To my surprise, a supervisor soon chimed in-once more from the same Indian call centre-to confirm the details of my non-existent claim. Clearly undeterred, an hour later I received a call from a rather posh-sounding English bloke claiming to represent AIB, inquiring after my fictitious identity! What a peculiar set of events!
