I received a rather bothersome call from a telemarketer hawking some energy-saving product. It was a morning call, and I kindly requested that they take my number off their list. The chap promptly hung up on me, which was quite rude. Later that evening, the phone rang again, and I reiterated my wish to be removed from their calling roster. This time, he seemed more interested in knowing when I had my insulation done, but I insisted it was of no concern to him-I simply wanted my number taken off their list. To my astonishment, he threatened to pass my number along to other telemarketers, implying that I would continue to receive calls! I must say, I am furious!
