Today at around 1:53pm, this number rang our TPS landline. We didn't answer because we didn't recognise it and figured it was probably one of those scam calls - which others on here seem to agree with. We've gone ahead and blocked it now.

Was a bloke called Abdul from India ringing again, trying to pass himself off as Paul Smith or something. Just hung up straight away once I caught onto his accent.

Got a call this morning, it rang for a bit before someone picked up on their end. Then, after a bit of a pause, a woman came on asking for someone by name, but it definitely wasn’t me. I reckon it’s a VOIP number so could be from literally anywhere. Makes me think the TPS register doesn’t really do much good with these sorts of calls!

I just picked up a call from a local number and decided to answer it. The person on the other end sounded foreign and oddly enough, they knew my name. I told them I was hanging up straight away. When I tried ringing the number back from my phone, it wouldn’t go through. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I got a call from 02476596261 and the person on the other end wanted to speak with me by my name. They didn’t sound like they had a European accent though. I chose not to answer and they seemed fine with it.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, but I'm pretty sure it was a scam trying to get me to block numbers or something dodgy like that. Definitely don't trust those calls!
