Been getting loads of calls from 0247 numbers this week. TPS isn't meant to ring me, and surely it's illegal under GDPR to just call without asking first? Seems like all these are just scammers.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with the telephone preference service, saying they could stop unwanted calls, but there was no real evidence of that. Then out of nowhere, they switched to asking about my bank card info and financial stuff. Felt dodgy to me, so I just ended the call. Definitely seemed like a scam.
