Someone rang me saying they were from Nationwide and gave this very convincing talk about suspicious activity on my account. Sounded pretty legit at first.

Got a call on my mobile from a bloke saying he was with the Nationwide Credit Card Fraud team. He claimed there was weird activity on my card and said it had been switched over to the Coventry region. He asked me to ring him back on my landline. Oddly enough, I never heard from them again. Felt like a scam attempt to me, trying to fish for info.

I reckon it's a scam attempt. They phoned claiming my credit card was used and said they were from Nationwide Building Society. I ended up ringing Nationwide’s fraud team, and they confirmed nothing had happened with my card at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HSBC about suspicious use of my credit card. They knew bits of my postcode which made it sound legit at first. When I asked for their contact number, they just ended the call. Best thing I did was ring HSBC directly to check it out.

At first I thought it was Nationwide calling, seemed very convincing when they asked about my account. But I rang Nationwide myself and it turned out they weren’t. Ended up cancelling my cards and reporting the whole thing.

So someone called claiming to be "Kyle" from Nationwide, said there were suspicious activities on my account but gave me an address that’s not even mine anymore. Right after that, they just ended the call quickly. I rang up Nationwide myself and turns out it’s a total scam. Just a warning to everyone!

They called claiming to be from Nationwide, but something about it felt off. Definitely not who they said they were. Quite dodgy if you ask me.
