Today I got a call saying my washing machine insurance had just ended and they offered to renew it. They already had my personal info like my name and everything. They even managed to lower the price if I covered two appliances. Even though I felt a bit iffy about it, I ended up giving them my card info, but they didn’t send me any documents. The old policy was actually under my late husband’s name. Right after I hung up, I looked up the company and phone number online and quickly spotted it was a con. I called my bank straight away to cancel the card, luckily no money had been taken.

At about 6:45pm, I got a call from 02476404854. I answered with a quick hello, but as soon as I spoke, the caller just ended the call straight away. Very strange!

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent going on about dishwashers and washing machines. I couldn’t quite catch what he was trying to sell me, so I just said cheers and ended the call.
