I received a call from someone claiming to be from Openreach, who kept rambling on about supposed issues. I’ve not experienced any problems at all, so after a while, I decided to hang up. The chap was from India and struggled with his English, which made it quite frustrating!

I received a call from this number the other day. On the other end was a chap with a heavy Indian accent and his English was quite hard to decipher. There was a great deal of noise in the background, suggesting he was likely ringing from some sort of call centre. He claimed to be with BT Openreach, probing into my internet speeds and inquiring about my router. I fabricated a story about using a virtual machine and, without missing a beat, he hung up straight away. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam attempt to me.
