They called it a ‘courtesy’ call, but honestly, I’m not buying that excuse - sounds nothing like a courtesy to me. I’m not sure who’s behind this number, but they clearly have no clue about their company’s actual policies. Someone there convinced me to buy an extra 5kg baggage allowance, telling me I could use 2kg of it for my hand luggage, which sounded great at the time. Luckily, I checked again before I left and discovered that’s completely false. Feels like they’ll say anything just to squeeze more cash out of you.
