I had a similar experience where someone claimed they had the ideal home and then asked me to pay upfront. Seemed dodgy to me!

I put up an ad on Gumtree looking for a house, and then Rosemarie Grant got in touch saying she had just the right place for me. She sent some pictures but wanted me to pay a deposit before I could even see the property. Definitely a scam!
