Got a call from an unknown Coventry number, but I don't know anyone there. I just left it ringing and ignored it. Seems like, from what others have said, it might be some kind of scam.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from co-op health insurance, spoke with a Manchester accent and said he was calling from their Leeds branch. But the number showed as Coventry, so it was clear he was pulling my leg.

Got a call on my phone from a number flagged as maybe a scam. Didn’t pick up and have since blocked it.

Blimey! This chap was incredibly pushy and downright impolite! He was after details about a property linked to my proper name. Kept insisting on verifying my identity and claimed he was conducting a survey about holidays. No matter how many times I firmly requested that he take my number off his list and cease his incessant calling, he just wouldn't take no for an answer! So frustrating!

got a call with no sound on the other end, bit eerie really.

Today I got a call from this number but as soon as I picked up, they just cut off. I always look up unknown calls on “who called me” to spot any dodgy ones. After that, I blocked the number straight away. Later, I noticed they tried ringing again but it didn’t come through on my end, it probably just kept ringing on their side before dropping. Guess blocking is the best way to deal with these annoyances.

They called asking for someone by name. When I asked what the call was about, the lady said it was for a travel or holiday survey. I told her the people at this number wouldn't be interested and asked them to remove the details from their records. I doubt they'll actually do that though!

Got a call about energy bills, they already have your number so I guess they can get your address and send stuff over regardless. When I tried to end the call, the woman insisted she was from the chamber of commerce, sounded like an accent too.

someone rang me from this number saying they were with scottish power. i didnt really trust it cause they sounded off and not like a proper rep. when i asked for some kind of proof or ID, the person got all rude and just hung up on me. quite dodgy if you ask me.
