Got a call from a call centre claiming to be EE, trying to sell me a new deal. Told them to ring me back at 5pm, then looked up the number and ended up blocking it after seeing all the negative reviews about it.

Nearly every day I recieve a call from some call centre claiming to be EE. The person on the phone has an Indian accent. I keep blocking the number but they just ring me from a different one.

Got a call right in the middle of the Queens funeral. I could hear two ladies giggling like they’d just pulled off a con, then one chirped up “Hi, this is the warehouse company, how’s it going?”. Pretty sure she meant Carphone Warehouse. I replied by copying her strong Indian accent and repeating exactly what she said, which obviously didn’t go down well cause she called back straight away. Problem is, we were all watching the funeral together as a family, and everyone heard me making fun of her accent. My kids have now decided I’m racist.

The individual on the other end claimed to be representing EE, but when I probed further, they abruptly ended the call. It's worth noting that EE wouldn't use a Coventry number to reach out to customers - clearly a scam.

Got a call claiming to be from EE about a new deal, but they started asking stuff EE would already know. I told her straight up she wasn’t from EE, told her to jog on and hung up. Then blocked the number. These scammers really should be stopped.
