A lady called me saying her name was Sara but she had a very thick accent which was hard to catch. She mentioned she worked for some company but I couldn’t quite catch the name even when I asked her to say it again. It all felt a bit dodgy, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with “Amazon warehouse” but their accent was really thick and they spoke super slowly. They kept asking about what kind of phone I have. I wasn’t having any of it and just hung up, no way!

The phone only rang a couple of times, then it was cut off - not the first occasion this has happened, as they've done the same from loads of different numbers. Big thanks to who-called.co.uk for helping me figure out what’s going on; it really cleared up my doubts.

A lady calling from EE, sounded like she was overseas or something. I told her I already mentioned yesterday that I’d call back only if I was interested - assuming she really was from EE. Before I could say more, she just dropped the call on me.

They said they were from EE but barely spoke any English. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone with a thick accent claiming to be from EE, trying to sell me a new IPHONE 4. I was about to listen more but as soon as they started asking for my bank info, I just ended the call.

I picked up and the call just dropped straight away. Strange!

Got a call from a number I didn't know, but no one said anything when I picked up. Kept listening for about 10 seconds and then they just cut off. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now. Seems like one of those scam calls where they ring loads of people and chat with whoever picks up first. My advice: if an unknown number rings, don't be quick to answer - hang on for at least 5 seconds before you pick up.

Sounds like a total rip-off to me - someone pretending to be from HMRC saying they’re going to sue me. Definitely a scam.
