What a cheeky caller! He claimed we’d signed up for some cheap energy deal ages ago. Who does that? Not me, I never filled out any form. The minute I told him it’s a council housing place, he just cut me off, no apology or anything. I get that they only deal with private homes, that’s fine, but a simple “sorry, this isn’t for council tenants” would’ve been decent. Instead, he just ended the call like a right plonker. Honestly, seems like he’s just after his commission and couldn’t care less about manners. Proper rude bloke.

Some bloke rang claiming to check in on a previous inquiry I supposedly made about budget energy deals. He said his company had just taken over from another one. I played along for a bit, acting like I recognised what he was on about. When he asked details like how many bedrooms were in my home, I kept feeding him rubbish, saying I rented a flat with 12 bedrooms or something daft, but he never seemed to catch on. In the end, I told him to bugger off and quit messing me about.
