Got a call from someone saying they were from Currys PC World, claiming they could hook me up with 20-30% off. Honestly, no clue what they were even on about because they spoke way too fast, like lightning speed. The number was a company mobile with nothing to do with Currys, so it had scam written all over it. Don’t pick up if it rings you!

I picked up the phone and some bloke claimed he was ringing from O2, so I just ended the call. Then he rang back straight away and started having a go at me for hanging up. I told him right off the bat, with that kind of tone, you sound like a scammer. He said he didn’t want to give me the details but was offering 40% off my contract and said he’d pass me to a mate. I just hung up and blocked the number. Doubt it’ll help though, cos I’ll probably get another call tomorrow from a different number but the same lot.

Some dude called me saying I could get an iPhone 14 with a 40% discount. I told him if he bought it first, I'd pay him back straight away, but he wasn’t having it :( Basically, just another scam, nothing legit lol.

Some bloke called claiming to be from the 3 mobile network, which sounded dodgy to me. I told him straight that if he was really with 3, I'd have to complain about him breaking TPS regulations, but if not, he was definitely a scammer. After a brief silence, he just said "Alright then, no worries" and hung up.
