1 monthPhone rang but hung up just as I was about to answer. Then about half an hour later, some bloke on a mobile claimed he got a missed call from my number - which makes no sense since I keep my number private AND hardly ever call from this one. My mate’s phone, whose number is near mine, got the same deal. It rang and then cut off straight away. Best thing to do is BLOCK the whole batch. The easiest way is to block the number on your phone, then go into the blocked list, remove the last three digits and save. Simple as that.1 yearThe caller asked for me by my name and mentioned some sort of survey aimed at helping me save money or something like that. The girl on the phone was quite hard to catch what she was saying. She went on with the usual bit about calls being recorded and that I wasn’t obliged to answer. I ended up just hanging up since she wouldn’t stop talking and didn’t seem interested in what I had to say anyway.1 yearGot a call this morning around 11.05, a woman asked for me by name and said she was with Beneficial. I told her I thought it was a scam and she just hung up on me.Beneficial1 yearGot a call showing up as 024 7540 8022, but I reckon it’s just a fake number used to hide where the call’s really coming from. I picked up, but as soon as I did, they hung up straight away - seems like one of those auto dialer things. Pretty sure it was spam. Phone providers seriously need to step up and find better ways to stop these scam calls.1 yearGot a dodgy call about some survey they wanted me to do. Told them I was busy and asked to be taken off their call list, but the woman kept pushing for the survey. I politely declined with a ‘no thanks’, and then she just cut the call right away.1 yearBlocked the number as soon as I realised it was a scam, didn't entertain it at all.1 yearI picked up but the person just hung up straight away, no clue who it was.1 yearGot a call from 02475408022 and it just went straight to voicemail without leaving any message. Pretty sure it's just another spam call.1 yearGot a call from some bloke saying he was gonna ask a few questions and that the call was being recorded or something. He was trying to do some marketing survey but said I didn’t have to answer if I didn’t want to. I just told him no thanks and hung up.4 yearsPhone rang but went straight to answerphone, didn’t leave any voicemail.Submit Your Own Report (024 7540 8022)
