I received a call the other day from someone who bombarded me with a series of rather intrusive questions. He had a noticeable accent that was quite thick, and I couldn't shake the feeling that he was fishing for my private details. It all felt a bit dodgy, to be honest.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, sounded like she was shouting from a busy call centre. She asked me quite a few personal questions before some rude guy with an Asian accent suddenly jumped in. He said she was new and didn’t know what she was doing. Then, he asked me this weird question about if yesterday was the 8th December, what day would today be? I told him I didn’t like being pushed to say certain things and then he just started shouting at me and hung up. Proper unpleasant experience.

Got a call from the exact same number two days in a row. The person on the line had a really thick accent and their English wasn’t great. Told them to stop ringing me and then went ahead and blocked the number.

didn't pick up this time but a little while ago I got a call from a number really similar to this one, from around Coventry. no voicemail or anything, and I don't deal with anyone there. I blocked that first number, and now they've rung again from a number that's almost the same, just one digit different at the end.
