This number, 02475280499, kept ringing me this morning, usually at about 9:30 or 10. It’s called so often that I’ve actually memorised it now! Honestly, don’t waste time picking up - it’s a total scam. Just block it and get on with your day.

Someone rang asking to speak with the owner of the business. I told them, "Sorry, they’re not available." They just said, "Alright, cheers," and hung up. Honestly, that was probably the most pleasant nuisance call I’ve ever received! 😂

I got a call from 02475280499 and as soon as I picked up, they just hung up right away. Nothing was said, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't a legit call. Seems dodgy to me.

Nobody got back to me.

Got a call from this number earlier, it showed up as Coventry on my phone. I’d heard on the local news there’s been a scam going round there recently, with people pretending to be from visa, TPS or phone companies. I decided to block it straight away since I’d had a similar call from a different Coventry number just last week. When I answered, the caller claimed he was with my phone provider, but I told him I actually use Virgin Media, not BT. He seemed surprised and said he’d look into it, then ended the call. Sounds dodgy to me considering the history.

This morning at about 8.46am on 22/3/22, I got a ring from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he could switch my landline to cut costs. I told him to buzz off and never ring again, then chucked the phone in the bread bin and carried on with my brekkie. Total rubbish, definitely a SCAM. DGM Bristol

This number phoned me again, just a few days after the last time. I made it clear I wasn’t interested back then. This time it was some bloke with a thick accent bothering me about cutting my line rental down to £11 a month. He kept dodging which company he worked for, though he did drop the names Open Reach and BT here and there. When I told him to email me the info because I was heading out, he just hung up on me. So now, straight into the block list. Total scam if ever there was one!

Got a bloke ringin wanting to talk to the boss. Told him he wasn’t in. He didn’t really say much after that. Seen these reviews and reckon it’s best to just block the number. Had at least three of these calls over a few days now, so enough’s enough.

I received a dubious phone call that claimed to be from Lloyds Bank, urging me to reach out to their fraud department straight away due to some so-called suspicious activity on my account. The irony? I don’t even have an account with them! Quite the cheeky scam, if you ask me.

Someone rang me from this number asking to talk to whoever runs the business. When I asked what it was about, the person with a strong accent said they could lower my phone rental to just £11 a month starting next month. I stopped him right there and told him I was already tied into a contract, then hung up.

A rather feeble effort to masquerade as a 'service for blocking your calls'!

I got a call where the person claimed they were from some sort of 'call blocking service', nothing about the TPS or anything official like that.

Right from the start, I could tell this was a scam. The person on the other end had a strong Eastern accent and kept asking if I was signed up for the telephone preference service. When I asked what company he was calling from and why he needed to know, he just hung up on me. Pretty obvious dodgy call.

I got a call from this number 02475280489 and some bloke named Niel Francis told me they were going to take £110 out of my bank for call blocking stuff. I never asked or agreed to any of this. Right now, I'm trying to get hold of my bank to stop it before anything happens. The company he mentioned, Omniplas, seems to be dodgy too, probably a scam.

Got a call on my home phone about some call blocking thing and they already had my name and address. They told me my visa card had expired back in 2022 and said they'd wait while I looked into it. I just hung up on them instead.

Someone rang saying they were from the telephone preference service and wanted to ask me some questions to renew my registration. I told them it would depend what questions they needed to ask. They then mentioned I was the bill-payer for the number and gave my address, which struck me as odd. After that, they asked if I paid my bills by direct debit. I said there was no reason for TPS to need that info and told them I'd just sign up again on their official site. Pretty obvious scam, if you ask me.

Some guy, sounded like he was from overseas, kept chatting away but kept yawning loads. He didn’t catch my name properly and his accent made it really hard to understand him. Best to just avoid.

Got a call from someone random who was really pushy. I couldn’t make out what he was saying and decided to end it quickly. Felt like it might be dodgy and risky for anyone not paying attention.

They told me it was the TPS and wanted to confirm my visa card number, saying I’d given them a card that supposedly expired in 2022. Thing is, I’ve never even had a card like that. Plus, TPS doesn’t charge anything. I just ended the call straightaway.

A few moments later, some bloke came on the phone with a strong Asian accent but spoke really clear English. He asked for a Mrs Baker - not someone I know, though I get calls for that name from loads of supposed ‘companies’ before, and none felt above board. He said he was ringing about some kind of home appliance insurance out of the blue. Sounds like one of those annoying scams to me, so I didn’t hang around long enough to find out!

So it keeps ringing and when you finally answer, there’s nobody there and then they just cut the call. Really weird behaviour.
