Got a text from +44 7536 697890 claiming to be Royal Mail. It said I owed £2.99 on a parcel and if I didn’t pay it, they’d send it back. The message then asked me to fill out my name, DOB, and address on a form. I didn’t go any further. It looked proper legit, even had the post office’s red box logo. Just a heads up, watch out for these kinds of scams!

Someone rang me saying they wanted to check who covers my energy bills, and they already had my name and postcode, which made me think they must’ve got my info from some database, probably something like the electoral roll as some firms do. I just told them I don’t pay the bill and didn’t fancy messing about trying any clever tricks, so I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Constantly getting calls, it's really annoying.

Had another call from a dodgy number using the usual tricks to scam people. This time they pretended to be from EDF, then the next call said they were from some energy company. I just hang up and block straight away now. Sometimes I mess about with accents and act like I can’t understand much English - keeps them tied up a bit longer so hopefully they bother fewer folks.

These people said they were from some energy company. I joked that they had me right from the start and promised to pay anything they wanted. They got all weird and upset when I tried giving them my bank details, then just dropped the call.

I keep getting calls from 020877002778, 01382279379, 02475262884, 0794736333, and 01394338711, and I reckon they're all connected scammers pretending to be from HMRC, energy companies, farm grants, insurance, you name it. My voicemail is full of them non stop. Seriously, BT, you’ve got to sort this out!!

Oh, just got a call from this number and they started talking about Brexit and cutting down my energy bills. When I asked where they found my details, the woman said it’s all in their database.
