The caller asserted they were representing EE. When I mentioned that I don't have an EE contract, they became rather unpleasant and wouldn't share which network I was currently with. They then switched their story, insisting they were calling from some sort of central hub that collaborates with all networks to offer improved pricing on new phones and contracts. I decided to end the conversation at that point.

Purporting to be from O2, but it's unmistakably a scam!

I received a call from someone named Said, who was keen to entice me with a shiny new phone and a contract to go with it. However, I politely declined as I am quite content with my current provider. I requested them to take my details off their list, but they attempted to speak over me. I had to firmly repeat my request two more times, stating that I was terminating the call and would be blocking their number. Said acknowledged my wish and said goodbye before we disconnected. I’m left wondering whether it was a dodgy scam or simply an unfortunate marketing mishap.

I received a call purportedly offering me a discount on Vodafone services. However, it soon became apparent that there was a significant language barrier, leading me to think they might be overseas operators. Realising it was all rather dodgy, I decided to hang up and promptly blocked the number. Best to avoid potential scams like that!
