Got a call from someone saying they were with EE and could give me a 30% cut on my bill. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

COMPLETE RIP-OFF Today I got a call from this number claiming to be from EE, saying I could get 30% off my bill. They asked me how much I usually pay each month, but I called them out on it because surely someone from EE would already have that info. They then said it was a security check to verify my identity. To top it off, they wanted details about the make and model of my phone. I've gone ahead and blocked the number, and also reported the whole thing to EE. BEWARE, DON’T FALL FOR IT. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR INFO, JUST END THE CALL AND BLOCK THEM STRAIGHT AWAY.
