Got a call from someone claiming to be from British Gas disconnection dept, saying they were coming to take our electric meter off because we supposedly didn't renew our contract. They mentioned loads of other numbers too, mostly starting with 0116 350. The caller kept saying they were from British Gas and wanted us to renew an electric contract that actually isn’t up until next May. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from this number saying they were from EDF. When I questioned them, they started swearing and being really rude. I hung up, but they rang back straight away and were really pushy, asking why I ended the call. I told them I record my calls, and their response was just "so". They called me again yesterday and have tried twice more today.

Had a call from someone saying he was Martin from British Gas, though his English was pretty poor. He kept going on about our meter number, which after a quick look I found easily on the National Grid site. He also wanted me to check info on our bills and asked when our contract finishes. Funny thing is, he couldn’t even tell me our account number, claimed he was just from the meter readings team! Got a bit annoyed and started telling me I had to ‘comply’. Proper persistent bloke - hope he ends up getting what’s coming to him.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EON, saying my contract was due to be renewed. Thing is, I’d already dealt with that beforehand. I told them to check with their IT folks because my online account showed everything sorted, so if theirs was showing otherwise, they had a problem. Then I admitted I was just keeping them on the phone so they couldn't scamm anyone less careful. Next thing, they asked if I had mental health problems! Absolutely ridiculous!

This was totally a scam. They rang our business line asking for the mobile number of the person handling our energy deal. I told them not to call again and hung up. They then called straight back, sounded really angry and were super pushy and rude. Watch out for these people.

They keep calling multiple times daily pretending to be from your energy company. If you try to end the call, whether nicely or firmly, they just keep ringing you back over and over. The most recent time they called, they were really pushy, unpleasant and even started making threats. Honestly, it feels like a proper scam and is quite worrying.

Beware of "Low Energy Savings" - it’s a total scam trying to get your personal and bank details. This number is really sketchy and you’d be smart to block it straight away from your phone. Don't trust anything from them!

This was definitely a scam. They said they worked for my energy company, but they didn’t. They had some of my info, like my name, which made it seem legit, but it was all a trick to get me to switch my contract over to them. Honestly, best idea is just to block these calls straight away.
