Got a call from 1314 earlier today, but Call Guardian blocked it. They didn’t leave any voicemail. After checking up on it here, it looks like it’s a dodgy scam to watch out for.

I chose not to pick up since there was no voicemail left. Checked online and feel relieved I didn’t take the call.

My landline gave me just one ring, which usually means a blocked call tried to get through. Checked the number on the caller display and yep, dodgy. Added it to my block list straight away!

Got a recorded message claiming to be from Ofcom saying I needed to upgrade my internet, then got connected to a lady with an Asian accent who kept insisting she was from Ofcom - that’s when I just hung up.

Was just enjoying me cuppa and watching the sparrows outside when this annoying tosser ringed me on this number. Honestly, why can't these bloody pests just get tangled up in their own phone wires and disappear forever? Give us a break, would ya!

Got a voicemail claiming to be from Ofcom about some broadband upgrade, but it seemed a bit dodgy to me. Felt a bit off, like a scam or something. Definitely wouldn’t trust it right away.

Got a creepy recorded call from someone saying they'd cut my broadband if I didn’t reply, said they were from Ofcom about this broadband boost thing. Tried to talk to the person on the line but they just hung up on me. Definitely a scammer, called me at about 12:21.

Got a call with a believable recorded announcement at first, then a man with an Asian accent took over but couldn’t properly explain which government rule he was referring to. He kept asking about the gadgets connected to our internet, but when I joked about him having goblins in his backyard, he didn't seem to know how to reply. He ended the call pretty quickly when I called him out as a scammer. Definitely don’t share any details with this number.

Got another one of those robo calls claiming to be from Ofcom, warning about broadband being cut off unless you agree to some ‘boost.’ They told me to hold on for an agent but I just hung up. Marked the number as spam so hopefully won’t hear from them again. Can’t believe they’re calling this early, it’s 8 in the morning and most folks are still asleep! Proper nuisance.

Forget using an alarm clock when these idiots ring me up at 7:47 in the bloody morning. Got no clue who they were claiming to be, as they just cut me off the second I picked up. Bet it’s the same old lot again.

Some muppet was going on about broadband issues, then just hung up. Blocked the number straight away, defo another scam call.
