This number keeps ringing me non-stop. The person on the line sounds Asian and never quite gets my name right. All they seem to want is to confirm my address. If I don’t pick up, they just cut off immediately. Even though I’ve blocked the number, I keep getting the same calls on about six other phones. Now they’re calling from “private” or “out of area” too. Properly annoying these calls!

Usually they ring just a couple of times, like two or three at most, but today they’ve gone six times already - totally relentless! You’d expect them to stop if I don’t pick up, but nope, these pesky lot just keep at it. A mate suggested I should pick up and start whistling into the phone to see what they do next, so I’m gonna give that a go and see if it throws them off.

They try to suss out details like how much I earn, my age, and if I’m married or not. Whenever I don’t give them the info and ask them to take me off their list, they get proper narky. This morning, they actually told me to "fuck off" before slamming the phone down once they twigged I wasn’t in my eighties like they expected.
