I got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, saying I'd be arrested if I didn’t give them my bank info and address. I handed the info over, but so far, no one's come to arrest me. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Somebody called me saying they were from HMRC and threatened me with serious trouble if I didn’t ring them back. It’s definitely a scam, no doubt about it!

I got a call from a number today, the start of the message was cut off, but then it said something about HMRC taking legal action against me. It told me to press 1 to get through to my case officer. Surely, HMRC wouldn’t threaten people like that over the phone? Seems dodgy to me.
