I received a call from someone claiming to be with BT, stating that there was an issue with our Sky modem. Feeling uneasy, I hung up and contacted Sky directly. They assured me it was a scam call-my information had not been leaked, and they were already on the alert and had notified the authorities. They also mentioned that these fraudsters often operate under various phone numbers, so if you happen to get such a call, it’s best to just hang up. Whatever you do, don’t divulge any personal information to them!
