Received a call on my mobile that lasted a solid eight seconds of silence before an automated voice chimed in with a rather abrupt “goodbye”. I reckon it could give the older generation quite a fright!

Received calls on the 24th of March 2017 and then again on the 27th, purportedly from BT's tech support team, stating that my router was generating error alerts. However, I’m not even a BT customer! Consequently, I decided to block the number.

I've just had another bothersome call from these nuisances. The caller ID flashed "International," and when I clicked on "Show details," it revealed the number "02399123110". Clearly a scam! A young woman with a thick Indian accent tried to convince me she was calling from the technical support team of my internet provider. I told her not to be so daft and promptly hung up.
