Like others have mentioned, he tried telling me he could lower my bill from £9.99 to £6.99 to get rid of unwanted calls. I told him I don’t even pay the bill, kinda like with his, and then he just hung up.

This number just rang me up saying I'd been getting loads of nuisance calls. When I asked "like this one?" he just hung up on me. Bit cheeky, but I supppose it's a change from all the internet trouble I've been having recently.

Got a call from some bloke with a thick Indian accent who took ages to pick up after I said 'Hello'. He said he was with some National Telemarketing firm that supposedly stops nuisance calls. At first, he mentioned a one-off registration fee of £6.99, but then passed me on to an Area Manager, who also sounded Asian. This guy was asking for £6.99 every month by direct debit. When I kept grilling him, he just hung up on me. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.
