In my instance, they cited London, which I highly doubted. Furthermore, I inquired about speaking to their 'line' manager. I’ve raised concerns with my landline and broadband provider about this number. Unfortunately, they’ve informed me that unless outright criminality is involved, their hands are tied-especially unless such calls become incessant.London8 yearsReceived a call around 16:40 today. They constantly ask for the owner of the computer, never bothering to use my name until I prod them. They claimed that my Windows system has a virus and that Microsoft was reaching out to inform me! These types of calls have been pestering me for over two years, every single week without fail. If I dare hang up or confront them, they bombarded me with calls every hour, only to hang up when I answer. The numbers are often different, but the pitch remains the same. The chap who called me today had the cheek to inform me that he’d be ringing back tomorrow. Just as I was typing this out, he rang again-had to hang up in a hurry.
