I got a call from a guy named Oli who had no idea who I was. He mentioned a company and said he wanted to chat about Vodafone, but when I asked him to prove he was actually from Vodafone, he couldn’t. Told him to stop calling me. There was loads of noise in the background like he was somewhere busy, maybe a shop or a train station.

Number 0239431800 kept ringing me trying to get me to change my mobile provider. Even after I told them I’d report them to the ICO, they didn’t care and just said they’d be waiting for that. So annoying!

Received a call from 02394318000 on 11/12/2020. Someone was trying to persuade me to switch my mobile provider, claiming there were great perks. I said no right away. But he kept going back to the start of his spiel. I told him again I wasn’t interested and asked for my info to be deleted from their records. He said he needed to follow some process and wanted my details. I refused, saying you already have my phone number so that should be enough to remove me. Still, he kept repeating himself like a broken record. I insisted he must delete my data due to protection laws. He went round in circles once more. Then I warned I’d report him to the ICO if my data wasn’t removed. He just said “go ahead”. I ended the call politely. These kinds of persistent calls happen way too often and it's getting really irritating.

Everytime my phone rings, I answer with "Who am I talking to?" followed by my name. As soon as I say that, they just hang up on me. It happens all the time.

Got a call today about my EE account, but they were trying to pitch some better business tariff. Thing is, I’m on a personal plan, so they clearly had their wires crossed. They kept pushing me for my bank details and other personal stuff, which felt really dodgy, so I just ended the call and put them straight on block.

I got a call offering me an upgrade to a business plan with a slight discount on what I already had, plus better features. I shared my email since it’s publicly available. Mentioned I only had 9 minutes before a meeting. They ended up going over time so I said I was running late and hung up. They kept ringing back a few times, and when I finally picked up, I asked them to email the details instead. Then they asked for my bank info before sending the contract, which I wasn’t comfortable with. So far, no emails or information sent through.

some bloke rang me about my vodafone account sayin he could get me a better deal or summat. i told him i wasn’t bothered but he just wouldn’t drop it. didn’t want to be nasty, but i had to make it clear i wasn’t interested. still, he kept jabbering like he was desperate or somethin. eventually, i just told him to jog on and hung up.
