I received a call from a chap named Oli, but it was clear he didn't have a clue who I was. He mentioned Vodafone and expressed a desire to chat about it, yet when pushed, he couldn’t verify that he was actually representing the company. I made it quite clear that I didn’t want any further calls from him. It was rather noisy on his end, almost as if he was in a bustling supermarket or perhaps at a train station.

Received a call from 02394318000 on 12th November 2020. I’m seriously considering ditching my current mobile network provider after this incessant hassle. The caller attempted to persuade me to switch my provider, claiming I’d reap some fantastic rewards. I firmly declined. Yet, he persisted, starting his pitch all over again. I made it clear I wasn’t interested and requested that he erase my information from his records. He mentioned he could only do that by following a specific procedure and was about to probe me for my personal information. I countered that he had my phone number, which should suffice for him to go ahead and delete my details. The unending cycle repeated itself. I reiterated my demand for the deletion of my data for compliance with data protection laws. He merely circled back to his script once more. I insisted he must take the necessary action to remove my records or I’d report him to the Information Commissioner’s Office. He said he would be waiting for that. So, I wished him a good day and hung up. I get these calls far too often, and it’s becoming quite the nuisance!

Everytime my phone rings, I answer with "Who am I talking to?" followed by my name. As soon as I say that, they just hang up on me. It happens all the time.

Got a call today about my EE account, but they were trying to pitch some better business tariff. Thing is, I’m on a personal plan, so they clearly had their wires crossed. They kept pushing me for my bank details and other personal stuff, which felt really dodgy, so I just ended the call and put them straight on block.

I got a call offering me an upgrade to a business plan with a slight discount on what I already had, plus better features. I shared my email since it’s publicly available. Mentioned I only had 9 minutes before a meeting. They ended up going over time so I said I was running late and hung up. They kept ringing back a few times, and when I finally picked up, I asked them to email the details instead. Then they asked for my bank info before sending the contract, which I wasn’t comfortable with. So far, no emails or information sent through.

some bloke rang me about my vodafone account sayin he could get me a better deal or summat. i told him i wasn’t bothered but he just wouldn’t drop it. didn’t want to be nasty, but i had to make it clear i wasn’t interested. still, he kept jabbering like he was desperate or somethin. eventually, i just told him to jog on and hung up.
