A call came through claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, and I kindly told the lady that I’m on the TPS register so they’re not allowed to cold call me. I asked her to remove me from their list and stop ringing me. Instead of listening, she launched into a long sales pitch about improving my phone deal. I kept saying I wasn’t interested and to stop calling, but she just talked over me. In the end I had to hang up. I've since blocked the number to avoid any more hassle.
