Got a call from 02394200868, and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. A woman with decent English claimed she was from Virgin Media, but it wasn’t convincing at all. She was talking about some issues with the computer and was trying to ask stuff so she could get into my PC or tablet. Seriously, don’t get caught out by this one!

i've just put this number on block. they won't stop ringing, like several times every day, but never bother to leave me a message. had tons of calls from them lately and it’s driving me mad. if it was anything urgent, they’d surely leave a voicemail, right?

On Friday 4th February 2022, my BT landline in Portsmouth, 02394200868, rang but when I answered, no one was there. I checked other reports and it seems quite common, which is a relief. I've already reported the incident to BT. You can find more info at bt.com/scams.

She never told me her name or what the call was regarding. All she kept doing was trying to figure out who I was, which felt a bit off. In the end, I just ended the call. Definitely sounded like some sort of scam to me.
