This bloke rang me, saying it was about some payout from an industrial job I apparently did five years back. I told him to find a real job instead. He said he’s only 17, works about three hours a day for £400, and asked me what I meant by a real job. I just told him it’s one where you don’t ring people out of the blue, make stuff up, and waste their time. When I asked for his company’s actual name, he said “Industrial Workers Office,” then had a laugh and hung up. Some bloke phoned me claiming he was from an industrial company, mentioned bits of my job history and said I worked in a factory. He kept insisting I needed a hearing check and told me I was already booked in for one next week. It sounded a bit believable since I'd actually worked in a factory before. Still, I didn’t like how he kept talking over me. Feels a bit off, don’t reckon a genuine health service would just cold call like that. The way he was going on was a bit off-putting.

I've been getting incessant calls from this number, purporting to be affiliated with industrial workers. As someone who has prior experience in that field, I initially dismissed their claims rather curtly. When that didn't seem to do the trick, I employed some rather colourful language from the vernacular of our ancestors. To my surprise, they rang me back not once, but twice more! Quite the persistence, isn't it?

Got a call out of the blue from someone saying they were with the National Advice Clinic telling me I’d been in an accident. I kept telling them that wasn’t true but they acted like they knew better. I must’ve just forgotten about it or something! The number was 02393479996 if anyone wants to look out for it.

Yesterday, which was a Tuesday, my wife received a rather peculiar phone call from this number. The caller addressed her by name and then went on to ask for me as well, claiming to have knowledge of our previous careers in the industry. To say he was mistaken would be an understatement. It’s high time we had some stringent regulations to tackle these intrusive calls!

I picked up the phone and the caller mentioned my name straight away. I decided not to confirm my identity, stating it depended on who was on the line. The caller claimed they were from the police station. I replied with an 'Alright then' and he chuckled, saying he figured that would do the trick. I then asked to chat with a supervisor, to which he replied, 'He’s not keen on having a natter with you, mate!'

I'm completely fed up with this incessant annoyance! Every time I pick up the phone, they hang up without a word. It’s beyond frustrating. I’m certainly going to block them for good!
